Our Company

Mission Pharmacal Company is a family-owned, privately-held pharmaceutical company based in San Antonio, Texas with Mission Pharmacal’s extensive CDMO operations and facilities located in nearby Boerne, Texas.

H.N. Walsdorf founded the company in 1946 with the goal of developing, producing, and marketing the very best products possible at a fair and reasonable price. That goal continues to drive us today as we develop, manufacture, and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical and over-the-counter products to our customers.

Mission Pharmacal’s branded pharmaceutical products have been recognized as pioneering innovations and are now considered the standard of care in the therapeutic areas of women’s health, urology, and dermatology. Since its inception, Mission Pharmacal has achieved sustained growth through product development for its own portfolio of branded and generic products, as well as through strategic partnerships with our CDMO customers that leverage our proprietary strengths and US-based manufacturing facility to help our customers to achieve their scientific and business goals. Mission Pharmacal has successfully partnered with well-known organizations of all sizes to drive the continued success and growth of the Mission CDMO business.

Our Facility

Our 275,000+ sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution facility has the capacity for both small and large scale production and is centrally located on our 40-acre campus located in Boerne, Texas, which is just outside of San Antonio, Texas. Mission CDMO manufactures high-quality prescription drug products, over-the-counter drug products, and dietary supplements for our company and for our customers in our FDA-registered, cGMP compliant facility. Regardless of the size and scope of your project, our experienced CDMO team will create a custom proposal to meet your product needs and exceed your expectations.

Meet our team

As President of Mission Pharmacal and Mission CDMO, Tom oversees and directs members of the leadership team who are responsible for the CDMO division, international distribution operations, and the commercial brand and generic divisions. Tom also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Mission Pharmacal and its CDMO activities, where he provides senior management financial advice and guidance related to growth of the various business units and entry into new markets.

For over 75 years, Mission Pharmacal has been a family owned and operated company. Kash carries on this legacy as part of the 4th generation of Mission family leadership. As Executive Director of Plant Operations, Kash oversees all aspects of commercial manufacturing and facilities to ensure Mission Pharmacal’s commitment to manufacturing high-quality products is delivered upon.

For over 20 years, John has served in progressive leadership roles at Mission Pharmacal and currently oversees all contract and site operations of Mission’s Boerne campus including Mission CDMO, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing, QA/QC, and Distribution. In addition, John and his team are responsible for promoting Mission CDMO capabilities by engaging with new and current customers. John works closely with executive leadership teams of Mission Pharmacal, which includes Mission CDMO, and its customers to form long-lasting partnerships

John Noe

Vice President, CDMO & Site General Manager

Since joining Mission Pharmacal in 1996, Eric has served in many leadership roles. Eric’s Regulatory Affairs responsibilities include interacting with domestic and foreign regulatory and governmental agencies, and oversight of all Regulatory, Clinical, Pharmacovigilance and Quality functions. Additionally, Eric and his team are responsible for foreign registrations and product labeling for dietary supplements, OTC drugs, prescription drugs, and medical devices.

Richard’s background includes a strong technical foundation in semi-solid and liquid formulation, process development, scale-up, process validation, and commercial manufacturing. His experience helps guide clients with products at any stage of development, from proof of concept through commercialization. Richard works closely with internal teams of specialists to ensure that client objectives are met and expectations are exceeded.
